pov: retired fashion stylist. sharing sustainable fashion and lifestyle with a realistic approach

Hello world!

I’m Felix from Malaysia, now based in Worthing, UK. A short introduction on my background, I am a mass communications graduate, started my career in the fast-fashion retail industry for more than 10 years, working as a store manager/store in-charge for few international fast fashion retail brands and the retail segment of international hotel chain. Then now landed in a digital marketing role in the health foods retail business.

Apart from that, care for the environment is also a topic I’m passionate about. But what’s my stance in this topic? I have been working with businesses that are one of the biggest polluters on earth. All these fast fashion businesses, weaving threads that’s posing a threat to the environment, people, and culture. As a business operator, we are constantly talking about sales growth, we wanted loads of customers, I wanted people to spend continuously. Am I a suitable person to talk about this?

Over the years, through experience, travelling, reading, and researching, I think ethics is one important topic in every society now. Everyone is talking about ethical business, ethical buying, Need vs. Want. Now, I am only a normal person who believes in environmental issues, climate change. Therefore, I want to use my voice to say: “It’s time to change!”. I want a change, so I started this blog

Disclaimer: I’m not here to condemn, pinpoint or judge your buying behaviour, criticise any fashion businesses out in the market. I want to create a neutral space to share a lifestyle change. As a fashion enthusiast, at the same time, putting the environment first! Promoting awareness and exchange useful practices, information, tips, and ideas.  Do drop your comments and share it to like-minded friends! Let’s use our voice and slowly influence the community. As the quote says: We don’t need one to do perfectly, we need millions of you to do it imperfectly! and consistently! Love & Peace!
