Having resolutions every new year is very common. Whether you successfully completed it or not, you’ll be your own judge. Well for me, I would like to start with these realistic goals as below:

Choose well
Invest in timeless pieces, versatile colours and prints so that you can mix and match creatively! No one knows you’ve repeated some pieces in your outfit! I will also only support second-hand fashion or sustainable brands. But it can be a bit tricky to identify REAL sustainable brands that doesn’t do greenwashing. If you would like to know more, keep an eye on this directory!
Mindful Consumption
Revalue our needs versus wants. Dive deep into the interpretation and weigh each importance. With inflation happening around the world, this practice saves your wallet, and at the same time, is environmentally friendly!
We need to be aware that the current crisis we have, is more a consumption crisis than a recycling crisis. We all know what and how to recycle, but we always forget the 3Rs of waste management start with ‘Reduce’. And did you know it had changed to 5Rs since years ago? Comment below what are the 5Rs!
Connect like-minded communities
Look for like minded communities and grow bigger! Share, Like, Comment and Follow my main Instagram account threadsxchange! I aspire to build a bigger community and we can do clothes swaps one day! Please make it happen!
Recycle Responsibly
Before recycling, try to repurpose it. Search around your local repurpose makers and learn a skill from them, make friends! Then also have a good knowledge of your local recycling points and centres. Comment below if you would like to know the ones in Worthing, UK or follow this directory.
